The Levin Institute moves into its new home!

The Levin Institute has begun moving into its new home at 116 East 55th Street in Manhattan, phone number (212) 317 3500. The staff is in place in their new offices while construction continues on the Global Classroom. Everything is expected to be up and running by the end of the year.

With state of the art technology housed inside, the Institute is poised to deliver a 21st century education to its students, as well as provide dialogue and discussion with leading practitioners on the major issues of the global economy, including management, innovation, science and technology.

Our new home is comprised of 4 townhouses which have been combined. The main building, known as the Ziegler House was designed in 1928 by William Lawrence Bottomly for William Ziegler Jr. who was the heir to the Royal Baking Powder fortune. At the time of its construction it was one of many single family homes built for wealthy families on the street. In May 2001 the building was given Landmark status by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission.

We look forward to many productive and interesting years ahead.
