Levin Co-Sponsors Program with National Venture Capital Association
The Levin Institute organized a panel on Innovation Across Borders and Cultures as part of a major program of the National Venture Capital Association (web-link). The 5th Annual Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Growth Conference (web-link) takes place in Menlo Park, California on October 3-4, 2007. Dr. Denis Fred Simon, Provost of the Levin Institute delivered a keynote address on Innovation in China, followed by a panel session on International Collaboration Environments, moderated by Thomas Moebus, Vice President for Development of the Levin Institute. The panel featured additional comments by Mr. James Jarrett, previous President of Intel China; Lip-Bu Tan, Managing Director of Walden International, a venture capital firm; and Dr. Richard Appelbaum of UC Santa Barbara.
